Rice guard Dylan Ennis was named Tuesday to the Conference USA all-freshman team.

Ennis averaged 8.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and was seventh in conference with 3.9 assists.
His 120 assists broke the school freshman record, set by James Simmons (114) in 1974-75. Ennis also has 36 steals and 15 blocks this season.
In games against UCF and Southern Miss, Ennis averaged 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 65 percent.
Tulane’s Ricky Tarrant was named C-USA freshman of the year.
